Wael Rezgui’s Journey Ends at eBotola Play-ins After Strong Group Stage Run

Tunisian EAFC national champion Wael Rezgui saw his campaign in the eBotola League EAFC 26 end at the Play-ins stage while representing Olympique de Safi eSports, following a 2–1 defeat to FUS Rabat.

The competition marked a significant step in Wael’s journey, as he competed to qualify for the EAFC World Cup in Riyadh and represent both Tunisia and his team on the international stage.

Strong Group Stage Performance

Wael, alongside teammate Tamir Saadeddine, delivered a solid group-stage campaign, finishing 3rd after a series of competitive performances in Group B.

During the group stage, Wael also stood out individually, earning the Goal of the Week award twice(1st Goal,2nd Goal ), highlighting his impact and quality in key moments of the competition.

Play-ins Exit Against FUS Rabat

Wael’s journey ended in the Play-ins after a closely contested tie against FUS Rabat, with both legs featuring high-intensity action:

Tamir Saadeddine 6 – Hatim Yazidi 5

Despite strong individual moments, FUS Rabat edged the overall tie and secured progression.
