Participation System and Player Selection

The tournament follows a clear and structured framework. Through its national partner, each country is responsible for appointing:

  •      - a National Team Manager
  •      - coaches for each discipline
  •      - the official player rosters

Players must have held the nationality of the country they represent for at least one year, while age requirements vary depending on the title.

A Major Financial Support Program

The Tunisian Esports Federation confirmed that the Esports Nations Cup 2026 is part of a major financial support program valued at $45 million, highlighting the scale of investment behind this ambitious new global project.

At the same time, available information on Liquipedia shows that several game titles will feature significant prize pools, including:

  •       - $1.5 million for Dota 2
  •       - $1.5 million for VALORANT
  •       - $1.32 million for Counter-Strike 2

This reflects a broad distribution of prize money across multiple disciplines, within a wider financial ecosystem designed to support the long-term development of esports on an international level.

This achievement reflects the ongoing work being done to strengthen the position of Tunisian esports both regionally and internationally. It also demonstrates a clear ambition to establish Tunisia as a nation with a meaningful role in one of the fastest-growing industries in the world.

Through this participation, Tunisia reaffirms its commitment to supporting its talent, strengthening its presence in major global competitions, and contributing actively to the future of esports.
