Tunisia joins FIFA’s official football esports competitions for the first time

For the first time, Tunisia is officially enrolled in football esports competitions organized under FIFA and FIFAe ,a major step for Tunisian players and for the national esports ecosystem.

This achievement comes after years of structured work led by the Tunisian Esports Federation, including formal files, continuous follow-ups, and direct coordination with FIFAe from 2021 to 2025 to position Tunisia among recognized nations.

Thank you to the Tunisian Football Federation

We extend our sincere thanks to the Tunisian Football Federation and all its members for their constructive cooperation and for completing the procedures required to finalize Tunisia’s participation in FIFA’s football esports pathway.

Tunisia’s enrollment covers the following competitive tracks:

eFootball (Mobile)

eFootball (Console)

Rocket League

Why this matters for Tunisia

For Tunisia, the goal is simple: to be present from the very start in an official series that serves as a benchmark for identifying the most high-performing and consistent players.

It is also a visibility opportunity: the Challenger Series puts emerging nations in the spotlight, alongside countries that have historically been strong on the eFootball scene.

More details about elite player selection and how to take part in the African qualifiers will be shared soon!
