Tunisian eFootball player Mariem Bouricha has secured her place at the Global Esports Games Los Angeles 2026, after successfully navigating the African qualification pathway in the women’s eFootball competition.
Representing Tunisia under the guidance of national-team player and coach Mehdi Bedoui, Bouricha delivered a strong performance to earn her ticket to the global stage in Los Angeles, where the Global Esports Games will take place in December 2026.

Her qualification campaign included an impressive start. In the first two rounds, Bouricha recorded two victories over Somalia, winning both encounters by 1–0. The back-to-back victories gave her a perfect record of 2 wins from 2 matches and 6 points, putting her in a strong position in the standings.
The achievement marks an important milestone for Tunisian women's esports and gives Bouricha the opportunity to compete against some of the world's best eFootball players on the international stage.
