Esports Nations Cup Postponed to November 2027

Tunis, 19 August 2026 The Tunisian Esports Federation acknowledges the decision of the Esports Foundation (EF) to postpone the inaugural Esports Nations Cup (ENC), originally scheduled for November 2026 in Riyadh, to November 2027.

The decision follows an ongoing assessment of the wider regional situation and consultations with key stakeholders. Given the unprecedented international scale of the ENC, bringing together national teams and partners from more than 100 countries and territories, the postponement aims to ensure the best possible conditions for the launch of this historic competition.

As the Tunisian National Team Partner for the Esports Nations Cup, the Tunisian Esports Federation reaffirms its commitment to the project and to the continued development of a structured, competitive and sustainable national esports ecosystem.

The postponement to 2027 does not affect the work already undertaken around Tunisia's participation. The development programs associated with the ENC, including the commitments of the ENC Development Fund to National Team Partners, will remain in place. The Tunisian Esports Federation will therefore continue working closely with the Esports Foundation and its partners to ensure that Tunisia is fully prepared for the competition.

Over the coming months, the Federation will continue its collaboration with the Esports Foundation and relevant stakeholders regarding the next stages of the project, including the competition calendar, qualification pathways, player selection and the preparation of Team Tunisia.

The objective remains unchanged: to give Tunisia's best esports talents the opportunity to proudly represent their country on the international stage and contribute to the development of a strong and ambitious national esports ecosystem.
