African Esports General Assembly Held Alongside Continental Championship
The General Assembly of the African Esports Federation was held in Casablanca, Morocco, on the sidelines of the African Esports Championship, which brought together representatives from 37 African nations.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Hicham Khalifi, President of the African Esports Federation, and was attended by key stakeholders from across the continent. Among the participants was Mr. Maher Sarrouri, President of the Tunisian Esports Federation, who represented Tunisia during the proceedings.

During the General Assembly, members discussed a range of important topics related to the Federation’s activities, ongoing development programs, and future strategic plans aimed at strengthening and expanding esports across Africa. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between national federations, developing competitive structures, and promoting sustainable growth for esports on the continent.
The event coincided with the African Esports Championship, highlighting Africa’s growing presence in the global esports ecosystem and underlining the Federation’s commitment to fostering talent, innovation, and unity through competitive gaming.
